Upper and lower eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) can create a less aged appearance

An upper blepharoplasty is designed to reduce excess skin, muscle and fat of the upper eyelids to achieve a more open-eyed appearance. It is a subtle, but powerful technique that is relatively pain free and quick to recover from. In some cases the excess fat and skin of the upper eyelids, can obscure vision. If this is the case, the procedure is no longer an exclusively cosmetic operation.

The lower blepharoplasty involves an incision just below the lower eyelashes and readjusting the support structures of the lower eyelid. Very little skin is resected.

Dr Yang will personally assess your situation to determine what techniques will work best in your circumstance. By removing excess skin and fat, and tightening the eyelids, the effect of a blepharoplasty can be quite impactful.
