I have a consultation booked with Dr Yang, is this still going ahead?
All consultations during the extended lockdown are now via Telehealth where possible, unless otherwise specified.
We have communicated this to all patients booked during this time frame but if you are unsure if this relates to your appointment, please phone our friendly team on 3257 7950.
I just had surgery, is my post-operative appointment still going ahead?
Yes, all post-surgery appointments are going ahead in-person.
You will need to:
- Wear a mask to your appointment
- Come alone
- Phone from your vehicle when you arrive as we have limited space in the waiting room
- Sign in via the QLD Covid Safe app
I live further than 10km from the practice, can I still attend my appointment?
Yes, based on the current lockdown rules you are permitted to travel further than 10km to obtain medical and healthcare services.
Can my partner/friend/parent come to my post op appointment?
Currently, we kindly request that you enter our rooms alone if you can do so.
If you need physical support then one support person may enter with you. They will also need to sign in via the QLD Covid Safe app.
Will my surgery booking for this week proceed?
At this stage all surgery is going ahead. If anything changes we will phone you with an update.
What health and safety measures do you have in place during the lock down?
Dr Samuel Yang and his team follow stringent health and safety protocols to protect the health of our patients and our team.
All staff are following PPE requirements, wearing masks, regular hand washing and regular sanitising of our office and treatment rooms.
All patients are required to sign in with the QLD Covid Safe app upon arrival, wear a mask and follow social distancing protocols.
What if I’ve been to a hotspot or experiencing symptoms?
If you have been to a publicised hotspot or if you are experiencing any flu like symptoms, loss of smell, fever or cough please do not enter our rooms. Please phone QLD Health to find your nearest COVID testing facility and please notify our clinic to reschedule your appointment.
How Will My Appointment Be Affected by Queensland’s Lockdown?

Dr Samuel Yang is an experienced plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgeon based in Brisbane.
A fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of both the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Australian Medical Association, Dr Yang has been practising in both the private and public systems since 2013.
While the Queensland-trained surgeon can help with all plastic surgery needs, he has special interest in abdominoplasty, skin cancer and melanoma, breast surgery, face lifts and blepharoplasty.
